Acetic Acid Solution 1%

Acetic acid solution is a diluted aqueous preparation of glacial acetic acid (CH₃COOH). It is commonly used as a solvent and stabilizing agent for peptides that are acid-sensitive, poorly soluble, or susceptible to aggregation, particularly sequences rich in basic amino acids.

The acidic environment created by acetic acid enhances peptide solubility by protonating basic amino acid residues such as arginine and lysine.
