KissPeptin-10

Kisspeptin peptides are encoded by the KISS1 gene and interact primarily with the GPR54 receptor, also known as the kisspeptin receptor (KISS1R). Scientific interest in Kisspeptin-10 has grown substantially due to its involvement in reproductive hormone signalling and its ability to influence neuroendocrine pathways through receptor-mediated activity. Its well-characterized biological profile has made it an important research tool in endocrinology and reproductive biology.

Experimental studies have explored Kisspeptin-10’s interactions with GnRH neurons, receptor signalling pathways, and transcriptional mechanisms involved in reproductive hormone regulation. 

Research has also examined its effects on cellular communication networks, endocrine signalling cascades, and molecular pathways associated with puberty, fertility, and hypothalamic function under controlled laboratory conditions.
