Gonadorelin Acetate

In the scientific literature, GnRH is described as a hypothalamic peptide that acts on GnRH receptors in the anterior pituitary and regulates the release of the gonadotropins luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).

After receptor binding on gonadotrope cells in the anterior pituitary, gonadorelin stimulates LH and FSH release. These gonadotropins then act on the gonads and support reproductive endocrine processes, including ovulatory function in females and spermatogenesis-related pathways in males.
