IGF-DES

This structural difference is associated with reduced binding to insulin-like growth factor binding proteins, also known as IGFBPs, while retaining activity through IGF-1 receptor-related pathways in experimental models. 

Preclinical and cell-based investigations have examined IGF-DES in relation to receptor-mediated signalling, intracellular communication networks, and cellular growth and differentiation processes. Current research continues to evaluate its molecular behaviour, receptor affinity characteristics, IGFBP binding differences, and downstream signalling activity.
