Orexin A

Orexin A in experimental research investigate endocrine, metabolic, and physiological processes across a variety of animal models. Studies have examined the effects of centrally administered Orexin A on serum luteinizing hormone (LH) secretion in ovariectomized gilts, as well as its influence on behavioural and metabolic responses in pigeons (Columba livia).

Additional research has explored the role of Orexin A signalling in pancreatic islet function, neuroendocrine regulation, and metabolic processes. 

Orexin receptor signalling pathways have also been investigated in studies of respiratory regulation and physiological responses to metabolic challenges. These investigations contribute to a broader understanding of orexin-mediated signalling and its involvement in diverse biological systems.
